Mennonite Collegiate Institute, located in Gretna, Manitoba is a provincially accredited independent Anabaptist Christian high school (Gr. 9-12), a member of Manitoba Federation of Independent Schools & Canadian Association of Mennonite Schools. MCI emphasizes a strong academic program leading toward post-secondary studies, excellent athletic & fine arts programs and a residence program, which is currently home to approximately half of the student body.

Director of Communications & Admissions

The Role:

As the Director of Communications/Admissions you play a significant role in shaping MCI’s narrative to the public. This includes designing print advertising, managing our online/social media presence, and helping to edit, design, and distribute CrossRoads (school newsletter). Much of your work is done in partnership with other departments within the school, from working on recruitment, to designing posters for our school events, you always need to be ready to take others opinions, and put them into action. You will also be responsible for admitting new students, and helping International students navigate the challenge of acquiring their study Visa’s.


*Experience working in Adobe Photoshop & InDesign
*Strong interpersonal skills
*Ability to handle critique and voice your opinion
*Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
*Completed a college or university degree is recommended
