International Student Application

To apply for admission to MCI a student needs to:

1. Obtain an application packet from the school (204-327-5891) or download a packet from the MCI web site.
2. Complete the necessary forms (International Application; Reference Forms; Health Form).
3. Submit the forms to:

The following items need to be included in order to complete the application procedure:

• application fee of $50
• an official certified transcript, issued by the school and showing the highest academic level attained to date
• a reference letter from each of three referees
• a medical form completed and signed by a parent/guardian
• a non-refundable deposit of $2000 is due within 15 days of receiving an acceptance notice from the school in order to ensure a place at the MCI for the coming school year
• the official certified transcript of the applicant's current year of study must be submitted on registration day in fall

After a student has been accepted by the school, a letter and official notice of acceptance will be issued by the school. This notice must be used to obtain the necessary student authorization to study in Canada. Students should notify the school regarding data and time of arrival in Winnipeg. If needed, arrangements can be made to meet the student at the airport. Upon arrival at the school, the student must be in possession of a valid passport and student visa. Tuition payment and medical insurance applications are done at registration. Assistance will be given to students for the renewal of visas and applications for visitor's visa to the U.S.A.
