MCI graduates class of '09
Click here to view photo gallery Sunday marked the end of another school year at MCI with the school's graduation ceremony taking place at the Winkler Bergthaler Church. 44 students were honoured for their academic achievement. Lauren Harms (Undergrad Adress), Ethan Rempel (Valedvictorian) and Tim Wiebe (Address to the Graduates), all shared words of encouragement for the diverse and talented graduating class. Among the many scholarships and academic awards handed out were three significant honours. Lori Reimer received the pretigious Governor General's Award with an academic average of over 96% in her Grade 11 and Grade 12 years. Reimer was also to co-recipient of MCI's Female General Proficency Award with Emily Lou Friesen. James Dyck won the Male General Proficency award. This award is given to students who contribute positively to MCI in many ways (academics, student leadership, fine arts, sports). Honourable mention was given to Natalie Rempel, Ethan Rempel and Judson Rempel. Class of 2009 Suzanne Allmendinger
