Hockey Academy

In partnership with Hockey Canada, MCI offers a Skills Academy. The program is a skills-based, for-credit course open to all students, Grades 9-12. The program runs from September-February and consists of a variety of on-ice, fitness, and classroom instruction.

The aim of the program is to help players develop game-specific skills, as well as come to a fuller understanding of the game of hockey. The hockey academy is not affiliated with MCI's hockey teams, but focuses on individual player development.

Students who participate in MCI's Hockey Canada Skills Academy will receive an elective credit that is recognized nationally.
