Additional fees

Students have the opportunity to get involved in numerous extracurricular opporunities throughout the school year. Most of these opporunities are included in the fees above, but a few are not included:

High school hockey program - $250: While the costs of all other sports are included in the student fees, the length of the hockey season requires us to charge players to play for MCI teams.

Crosswalk - $450: Crosswalk is a program aimed at promoting spiritual growth and discipleship. It culminiates in a 10-day trip over spring break to partcipate on SOAR: Heartland in Winnipeg. SOAR is a MBMSI initiative that exposes students to the realities of Winnipeg's inner-city through various service projects. This fee covers food, transporation, lodging, and program costs.

Grad Trip - $400-$800: Each year members of the graduating class have the option to go on a 6-10 day trip with their classmates that MCI staff organize and chaperone. The cost of this trip varies based on destintation and trip length. Recent trips have been to Minneapolis, Chicago, and the eastern U.S.

Europe Trip - $3000: Every other year students have the option to go on a 10-day trip overseas during spring break that MCI staff organize and chaperone.
